The manual covers also known as Winter Covers are used when the pools are closed for a long period of time or where the pool is used very seldom.
The manual covers comes in two different fabric types: Solid Vinyl and Mesh. The Solid Vinyl cover needs a mesh drain or a pump to drain the water that collects on the cover during rain or while cleaning the cover. The mesh covers are self-draining.
The cover is secured using heavy duty stainless steel easy adjust springs system. The anchors used are non-corrosive heavy duty threaded brass anchors which can be made flush to the ground when not in use.
The cover comes with all the necessary hardware like extra-long Allen key with handle and heavy duty stainless steel installation tool.
Pros: These covers also act as child safety covers and protect the pool from dust and debris. The covers minimizes the evaporation and reduce the loss of heat during winter season.
Cons: Since these covers are designed to be used for closing the pools for a long period of time, they are not easy to operate on daily basis. The covers are secured using heavy duty springs and are not easy to open and close frequently. These covers cannot be rolled on a roller. The solid vinyl manual covers increase the pool temperature during the summer.
